A chaotic video I made while watching the chaos happen.

    The 2020 elections were full of absurd news headlines, talk show jokes, and social media memes from start to finish. It seemed like everyone was just trying to keep up but couldn’t as there were new updates every second thanks to platforms like Twitter and Tiktok. It was so full of “jokes” made out of disbelief that you couldn’t even tell what was real anymore, and unfortunately most of it was real. Up til election day, where at every other election I have lived through is more or less the day you find out who your next president is, there was chaos. The week, or weeks following, included chaos over who won the election. I was initially going to make work based on the election results, but instead I opted to capture the chaos that unfolded in people chanting to stop counting votes to Donald Trump dancing to Y.M.C.A. All of the footage was captured on election day and the few days after with a majority of them taken from Donald Trumps twitter. All of it is unbelievably real.
