This was my first project at Central Saint Martins. We aimed to raise awareness on fast fashion. In order to tackle the climate crisis due to fast fashion, we decided to find a unique approach to bring awareness to fast fashion’s pollution of microfibers in the ocean. We wanted to do this by interfering with consumer’s daily lives.

    We created fake sushi made from clothing materials and placed them in Waitroses. From afar, the sushi blends in with the real food around it. After a closer look, one can see the ingredients list contains clothing waste, fast fashion facts, and names of common fast fashion companies. In addition, we included a QR code with a link to a website for more information.
